Health Care Technologies Exploration Day: Saturday, August 2nd

The health care industry is one of the fastest growing segments of the workforce. Here in Massachusetts, jobs in this field are projected to grow by 22% in the next six years.

In order to meet this growing demand, Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology offers unique programs in areas like Health Information Technology, Ophthalmic Assisting and Opticianry.

The health care technologies exploration day will introduce you to our programs and the career opportunities in this dynamic field. You will have the opportunity to learn about our bachelor and associate degree of science programs, as well as our certificate program in Ophthalmic Assisting.

The agenda will begin with an introduction of the college community, curriculum, financial aid, and enrollment processes. You will have the opportunity to tour the college, speak with admissions staff, faculty members, current students, as well as with a BFIT alumna who is currently working in the field.

Once you’ve heard about our model of education to employment, our hands-on approach to classroom work, our internship opportunities and amazing job placement rate, you will see how in one to two short years, you can position yourself for a competitive job in this dynamic and growing field.

The Day’s Agenda:
-Breakfast – 8:45 am
-Welcome – 9:00 to 9:15 am
-Admissions Presentation – 9:15 to 9:30 am
-Alumni Speaker – 9:30 to 10:30 am
-Major Specific Break-off Sessions – 10:30 to 11:30 am
-Taking Care of Business with Admissions – starting at 11:30 am
